    VSAR Searches - 1993

    We participated in six searches during the year. We provided over 2300 person hours of searching.

    Search one was for a missing male hiker. We were called but the lost hiker came out before we arrived at the scene.

    Search two was for a missing female in Woodville, Kings County, June 20th. We searched for five hours with 33 searchers. We had to administer CPR to the victim.

    Search three was for a missing female on Brow Mtn. Rd., Kings County, June 22nd. We searched for two and one half hours before the lost person walked out. We responded with 28 searchers.

    Search four was for a missing male in the Cornwallis River in Kentville, Kings County, June 30th. We searched for 32 hours with 54 searchers. We were assisted by the Kentville Fire Dept,Wolfville Fire Dept. and the police forces from Kentville,Berwick and Wolfville. The victim was found deceased.

    Search five was an Evidence Search in Wolfville on August 9th.

    Our last search of the year was for a missing female on Jones Rd., New Minas September 22nd. We arrived with 26 searchers and searched for 13 hours. The victim was found deceased.
